Bill.com Pricing Explained (2026)
What each Bill.com plan actually costs per user, which fees show up after signup, and how accountant firm pricing works.
Bill.com prices its accounts payable and receivable platform by user, by plan tier, and by payment method. That structure makes the sticker price hard to compare at a glance.
A team of five on the Corporate plan pays a different monthly total than the same team paying by ACH versus card. Add in per-transaction fees and the real cost only shows up after you have used the product for a month.
This guide breaks down Bill.com pricing tier by tier, lists the transaction fees most reviews skip, and covers the separate pricing program built for accounting firms. Pricing is sourced from Bill.com's own pricing page and support documentation; verify current numbers directly with Bill.com before signing, since SaaS pricing changes without notice.
What Is Bill.com?
Bill.com is a cloud platform for paying bills and collecting payments, built for small and mid-size businesses and the accounting firms that serve them.
It centralizes an accounts payable inbox, approval workflows, and vendor payments (ACH, check, card, and international wire) on the AP side. On the AR side it handles invoicing, payment collection, and payment reminders.
The platform syncs with QuickBooks and Xero, and at higher tiers connects to NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, and QuickBooks Enterprise. It also offers a separate Spend & Expense product for corporate cards and budgets.

Book a ConsultationBill.com Pricing Tiers
Bill.com sells four AP/AR plans, priced per user per month, plus a free corporate card product.
According to Bill.com's pricing page, the tiers are Essentials, Team, Corporate, and Enterprise. Each tier adds more automation and more integration depth than the one below it.
Confirm current per-user rates directly on Bill.com's pricing page before budgeting, since SaaS vendors adjust list pricing without much notice.
- Essentials — $49 per user, per month. Manual CSV import/export with accounting software, bill entry and approval workflows, ACH/card/check payments, a centralized bill inbox, W-9 collection, AI-assisted invoice coding, and six standard user roles.
- Team — $65 per user, per month. Everything in Essentials plus automatic two-way sync with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Pro/Premier, and Xero, custom user roles, and access to Bill.com's vendor network.
- Corporate — $89 per user, per month (Bill.com's most popular tier). Adds custom approval policies, discounted approver-only seats, and procurement features: purchase requests, purchase orders, tolerance rules, and two-way matching.
- Enterprise — custom pricing, quoted directly by Bill.com. Adds sync with QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Dynamics, multi-entity accounting, API access, single sign-on, dual control, and priority support.
- Spend & Expense — $0 per user, per month. Corporate cards, budget controls, and expense tracking, with access to credit lines from $1,000 to $5 million (subject to approval).
Payment and Transaction Fees
Bill.com charges per-payment fees on top of the monthly subscription, and these fees differ by payment method and by whether you are paying or receiving.
ACH is the cheapest way to move money on the platform. Card payments, expedited payments, and international wires cost significantly more.
These fees are the part buyers most often miss when budgeting, because they do not show up until the first invoice payment run.
- ACH / ePayment — $0.59 per transaction, for both paying and receiving.
- Mailed check — $1.99 per check sent.
- Virtual card — free to send.
- Card payment (paying or receiving) — 2.9% of the transaction amount.
- Instant payment — 1.0% of the amount, with a $9.99 minimum and $100 maximum fee.
- Expedited (pay faster) ACH — $11.99; expedited check — $14.99 to $24.99.
- International wire in USD — $19.99; international FX wire — free.
- Other fees — a $25 void-check fee, and $1.99 to $2.99 per form for 1099 e-filing.
Bill.com Pricing for Accountants
Bill.com runs a separate Accountant Partner Program for firms managing bill pay across multiple clients, instead of billing firms the same per-user rate as a single business.
Firms manage client entities from one Accountant Console, and Bill.com prices access largely around the number of client entities and which products those clients use, not around firm headcount.
The partner program is a tiered benefits structure (reported publicly as Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers based on client and product count) that unlocks partner discounts, co-marketing support, and dedicated firm support as a practice's client base grows.
Bill.com does not publish exact partner discount percentages or entity pricing on its public site. Firms should request a partner quote directly from Bill.com sized to their actual client book, since the console-based model makes public list pricing unreliable for firms.
In our own workflow-audit engagements with accounting firms, this is the single most common Bill.com pricing mistake we see: a firm budgets using the single-business Essentials/Team/Corporate price list, then gets surprised when the real Accountant Console quote comes back structured entirely differently.
Is Bill.com Worth the Cost?
Bill.com earns its price for teams that need deep procurement controls, multi-entity accounting, or ERP-level sync (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics).
Smaller teams with simple bill-pay needs often pay for features they never touch, since the per-user pricing and per-transaction fees apply even to a two-person AP team paying twenty bills a month.
A handful of lower-cost tools cover basic bill pay without the same per-user and per-transaction fee stack, and are worth a side-by-side check before you commit.
- Ramp Bill Pay — bundled free with a Ramp corporate card account, aimed at teams that already want expense management and do not need Bill.com's procurement layer.
- Melio — free ACH-to-ACH payments with per-transaction fees only on card and expedited payments, a common pick for very small businesses paying a handful of vendors each month.
- QuickBooks Bill Pay — built into QuickBooks Online for businesses that already run their books there and want bill pay without adding a second subscription.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Bill.com's per-user AP/AR pricing runs from $49 per user per month on Essentials to $89 per user per month on Corporate, with Enterprise priced by custom quote. Spend & Expense, its corporate card product, is free per user. Confirm current rates on Bill.com's pricing page, since list prices change.
- Yes. On top of the monthly subscription, Bill.com charges $0.59 per ACH payment, $1.99 per mailed check, 2.9% on card payments, and $19.99 on USD international wires, among other per-transaction fees. Budget for these separately from the subscription cost.
- The core AP/AR plans (Essentials, Team, Corporate, Enterprise) all carry a per-user monthly fee. Bill.com's Spend & Expense product, which covers corporate cards and expense tracking, is free per user, though credit line access is subject to approval.
- Accounting and bookkeeping firms use a separate Accountant Partner Program priced around client entity count and product usage rather than the standard per-user rate. Bill.com does not publish exact partner pricing; firms need to request a quote sized to their client base.
- ACH is the lowest-fee payment method at $0.59 per transaction. Card payments cost 2.9% of the amount, and expedited or international payments cost more still, so routing standard vendor payments through ACH keeps transaction fees down.
- For teams with simple bill-pay needs, Ramp Bill Pay, Melio, and QuickBooks Bill Pay all offer lower-cost or free bill payment without Bill.com's full per-user and per-transaction fee stack. None match Bill.com's procurement or multi-entity features at the Corporate and Enterprise tiers.
