Start with low-stakes tasks and widen what you hand it as it earns trust. That is the same way we phase in any agent we deploy for a client: narrow and supervised first, then broader.

Grok Bot is not the only computer-use agent. Claude Cowork from Anthropic is a knowledge-work agent that reached general availability in April 2026 and is included on every paid Claude plan, and OpenAI's ChatGPT agent covers similar ground. Grok Bot is not for you if you are not already paying for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, or Cursor Teams Premium and do not want to. It is also a poor fit on Android today, since there is no Android app yet, so a web or iOS device is the way in.

What would change this: a cheaper standalone tier, an Android app, or a track record of finishing complex tasks unsupervised. Any of those would move Grok Bot from a promising tool for people who already pay for it to an easy recommendation.
