Plan Limits Across Karbon Tiers

Payment Processing and Electronic Signature Credit Fees
Transaction fees and electronic signature bundles generate incremental costs beyond the base software license across all Karbon plans. Taking client payments through Karbon incurs a percentage fee plus a fixed 0.30 dollar fee, depending on the payment method.
Most standard credit and debit cards cost 2.6 percent plus 0.30 dollars per transaction. Corporate, specialty, and international cards cost 3.6 percent plus 0.30 dollars per transaction. A third rate, for one further card network, is 3.9 percent plus 0.30 dollars per transaction. Automated Clearing House (ACH) direct debit payments cost 1.0 percent plus 0.30 dollars per transaction, subject to a maximum cap of 5.00 dollars per payment.
Electronic signatures, designated as eSignatures by Karbon, require pre-purchased credit packages on all plans. A standard electronic signature request consumes 1 credit, while a request requiring Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) consumes 2 credits. Proposals and engagement letters created and sent through Karbon Engagements do not consume electronic signature credits.
Karbon sells electronic signature credit bundles in tiered volumes: 100 credits for 100 dollars, 500 credits for 450 dollars, 1,000 credits for 800 dollars, 2,000 credits for 1,300 dollars, and 4,000 credits for 2,000 dollars. Bundles of 10,000 or more credits require contacting Karbon directly. Every purchased credit package includes access to Karbon Approvals for 1 year.

Karbon lets a firm choose monthly, annual or multi-year billing when signing on. The Karbon account executive explains the billing options before signing, and depending on the agreement it may be possible to change the billing cycle later.
Karbon lists paid add-ons for Team and Business: email insights, custom reporting, team training, advanced team training, quarterly training with an expert (Q&A session), and a dedicated customer success manager. Karbon publishes no add-on prices. The Karbon pricing page does not say whether Enterprise includes them, so ask the Karbon account executive for add-on prices before signing.
