Airtable Pricing Guide for 2026 Plans and Seats
Current subscription rates, seat billing rules, and base record limits for operations teams.
Airtable pricing operates on a per-seat subscription model with four tiers as of October 2026. Plans range from a free tier for lightweight needs to Team, Business, and custom Enterprise Scale options.
Airtable charges organizations only for users who hold edit permissions on at least one base. Collaborators with read-only access, external individuals submitting forms, and people viewing share links access Airtable at no charge. Added editors are billed on a prorated schedule based on the exact days active.
For related setups, see spreadsheet automation for accountants and accounting workflow automation. Published rates and terms can be verified on the Airtable pricing page.
Airtable Pricing by Plan
Airtable costs $20 per user per month on the Team plan and $45 per user per month on the Business plan when billed annually as of October 2026. Billed monthly, those rates increase to $24 per user per month on Team and $54 per user per month on Business. The Free plan costs nothing, while Enterprise Scale requires custom pricing.
Airtable organizes its product across four published tiers: Free, Team, Business, and Enterprise Scale. The Free plan is formulated for individual users, very small teams, or lightweight operational needs. Enterprise Scale requires direct contact with Airtable sales representatives to establish pricing based on organizational scope and scale.
- Free: $0 per user per month. This tier includes 1,000 records per base, 1 gigabyte (GB) of attachment storage per base, public forms, and unlimited bases. All users collaborate for free. The Free plan's automation run limit was not read. Check the Airtable pricing page.
- Team: $20 per user per month billed annually, or $24 per user per month billed monthly. This tier includes 50,000 records per base, 20GB of attachment space per base, public forms, priority support, and unlimited bases. The Team plan's automation run limit was not read. Check the Airtable pricing page.
- Business: $45 per user per month billed annually, or $54 per user per month billed monthly. This tier includes 100,000 records per base, 100GB of attachment storage per base, 100,000 automation runs per month, two-year revision and snapshot history, and unlimited bases.
- Enterprise Scale: Custom pricing based on organizational scale through sales. This tier includes 500,000 records per base, 1 terabyte (TB) of attachment space per base, 1,000,000 automation runs per month. It also includes three-year automation run history, three-year revision and snapshot history, 20 synced tables, a dedicated customer success manager, priority support, SAML SSO, unlimited bases, and unlimited organizational units.
Seat Rules and User Costs in Airtable Pricing
Airtable charges subscription fees only for collaborators assigned edit permissions on at least one base. Read-only collaborators, public form submitters, and viewers accessing public share links generate zero subscription fees on any plan.
On the Team plan, Airtable charges for every collaborator with edit permissions on at least one base within that specific workspace. For Business and Enterprise Scale accounts, Airtable charges for any user who holds edit permissions on at least one base across the entire organization. When a team adds an editor partway through a billing cycle, Airtable applies prorated billing so the account pays only for the days the editor is active.
- Paid users: Anyone with edit permission on at least one base in the workspace (Team and Business) or in the organization (Business and Enterprise Scale), per Airtable's pricing page.
- Free collaborators: Anyone assigned read-only permissions to bases.
- Form respondents: External or internal users who submit information through public forms.
- Link viewers: Anyone accessing shared views through public share links.
- Mid-month additions: Editors added during an active billing cycle receive prorated billing covering only the remaining active days.
Record Limits and Storage Thresholds
Record limits in Airtable apply on a per-base basis rather than across an entire account. A workspace on the Free plan can create unlimited bases, but each individual base is capped at 1,000 records and 1GB of attachment storage. As operations expand, exceeding that 1,000-record threshold requires upgrading to the Team plan.
Upgrading to the Team plan expands capacity to 50,000 records per base and 20GB of attachment storage per base. The Business plan doubles that capacity to 100,000 records per base and provides 100GB of attachment space per base. At the top tier, Enterprise Scale supports 500,000 records per base and 1TB of attachment space per base.
Business and Enterprise Scale automation run caps were the only ones read. Business permits 100,000 automation runs per month, while Enterprise Scale provides 1,000,000 monthly automation runs. The Free and Team automation run limits were not read. Check the Airtable pricing page for them.

Consequences of Reaching Plan Limits
Airtable never removes or deletes stored data when an account reaches or exceeds plan limits. You can still use your bases. Airtable notifies you.
When a base hits its record or attachment threshold, team members cannot add new records or upload new files until the workspace upgrades.
For automations and API limits, usage is capped at the limit of your current plan.
Enterprise Capabilities and Administration Features
The Business tier includes two years of revision history and snapshot records to audit changes over time. Enterprise Scale extends audit retention by offering three years of automation run history along with three years of revision and snapshot history.
Enterprise Scale allows administrators to deploy unlimited organizational units, unlimited workspaces, and unlimited bases across an entire corporate structure. It also adds advanced identity management through SAML-based SSO and provides access to 20 synced tables.
Enterprise Scale accounts receive dedicated account support including a dedicated customer success manager alongside priority support channels. Existing customers currently operating on legacy Enterprise contracts remain on their current terms without change until their next contract renewal date.
Payment Methods and Airtable Pricing Decisions
Payment methods accepted by Airtable depend on the chosen subscription tier and purchasing channel. Workspaces subscribing to the Team plan pay by credit card. Workspaces purchasing the Business plan directly through workspace settings also complete transactions using a credit card.
Organizations purchasing Business or Enterprise Scale through Airtable sales representatives can arrange annual invoicing. Invoiced accounts can remit payment via Purchase Order (PO), Automated Clearing House (ACH) bank transfer, wire transfer, or paper check. Airtable also maintains special plans for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, with terms available through direct links on the Airtable pricing page.
Check your editor count and record volume against the plan limits on the Airtable pricing page before you sign. When integrating database records with financial systems like QuickBooks, calculate annual seat costs based on active editors rather than total staff. To establish an accurate software budget, audit your largest base's record count and editor count directly against the latest Airtable pricing schedules.
