Vellum, a competing AI vendor, reports that an invite from an existing member also gets you in. CellCog, another competing AI vendor, says to join the waitlist at instinct.co, which now redirects to instinct.com. No official statement gives a date for general public availability.

PYMNTS also reported that Instinct sometimes runs at capacity, with slower response times. Founder Noah Shinn told TechCrunch that early adopters have used Instinct to plan road trips, buy groceries, and cancel hundreds of dollars of subscriptions. The waitlist and member invites are the only access routes any source describes.

Eligibility and Beta Terms

Users must be at least 18 years old to access Instinct under the official Terms of Service.

California law governs the terms, with San Francisco courts or arbitration as the venue for resolving disputes. Read the Instinct Terms of Service before requesting access.

Participation in the private beta imposes specific legal commitments regarding confidentiality. The Instinct Terms of Service, last revised on August 26, 2026, state that beta offerings are provided as is and that closed beta offerings require confidentiality. In addition, the terms include an agency clause appointing Instinct as your agent to enter into agreements, commitments, or transactions on your behalf, specifying that any such agreements bind you directly.

Pricing terms remain unpublished on the homepage, but the contract structure accounts for potential future charges. The terms state that users may be required to pay fees to access or use certain features, with all payments made in United States dollars and non-refundable. PYMNTS reported that CEO Noah Shinn has said he does not want to charge users, and that Spear Street Technology could seek other revenue such as advertising. Risks of Secondary Invite Markets

Buying an Instinct invite code from a stranger can cost you the money and your account.

Instinct publishes no way to buy an invite, so a code bought from a stranger has no official route to support. Invite-code trading threads show up in search results for Instinct, and nothing from Instinct confirms that a code sold there works.

A seller who asks for your phone number or a one-time passcode can take over your account. The Instinct Terms of Service say Instinct sends one-time passcodes by SMS, so a passcode you forward to a seller works as your login.

The two safe routes are the waitlist texts from Instinct and an invite from someone you know who already uses Instinct.

Account Onboarding and Data Controls

Once you receive access to Instinct, restrict the services you connect until you configure privacy settings.

Instinct connects to your email, messages, audio and location. According to the Instinct Privacy Policy, Instinct collects keystrokes, cursor positions, messaging records, voice data, and precise geolocation. Users who grant full permissions immediately expose sensitive communication histories to automated processing.

Documented security incidents show why cautious onboarding is necessary. TechCrunch reported that tester Peter Yang discovered Instinct indexed and retained his emails without permission, prompting the engineering team to add a deletion tool in settings. Managing your data requires separate steps for disconnection and deletion. Name Collisions and Domain Verification

Verifying that you are navigating to instinct.com prevents confusion with unrelated entities sharing the name.

Instinct's official site is instinct.com, and sign-in happens at app.instinct.com. The alternative web address instinct.co returned a 307 Temporary Redirect to instinct.com when verified on September 25, 2026. Applicants should ensure their browser resolves to the primary domain before entering any login information.

Multiple unrelated commercial entities operate under identical or similar brand names. A dating app also operates under the name Instinct. In addition, an animal healthcare technology provider operates under the trade name Instinct Science. Neither of these companies has any affiliation with Spear Street Technology or Instinct.

Confirming official contact channels protects prospective users from fraudulent landing pages. The official homepage lists comms[at]instinct[dot]com for direct inquiries and links to its privacy policy and terms. The Instinct privacy policy names the operating entity as Spear Street Technology, Inc. d/b/a Instinct. Check that the address bar shows instinct.com before you text Instinct or sign in.

Alternatives for Immediate Access
