According to alfred_ pricing, alfred_ connects up to six email accounts across Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail, and IMAP. Pricing runs from $29.99 monthly for Starter (2,000 workflow credits) to $199.99 monthly for Max (25,000 credits) on monthly billing, supported by a 7-day trial requiring credit card entry. It delivers morning briefs, drafts replies in your voice, and manages follow-ups by text or in its iPhone app.

Simular develops Sai, an autonomous computer agent designed to execute screen tasks without traditional API integrations. The Simular pricing page notes that access is invite-only, with a Starter plan shown at $50 a month and an always-on Windows or Mac cloud computer on Premium at $200 a month.

Inflection AI operates Pi as an emotionally intelligent personal companion at Inflection AI. Pi kept running with free-usage caps after Microsoft hired Inflection's founders and most of its staff in 2024, TechCrunch reported; IEEE Spectrum titled its 2025 piece on Pi 'The Rise and Fall of Inflection's Emotionally Intelligent Chatbot'. Data Privacy and Training Policies Across Providers

No hosted assistant keeps your data on your own device, because a hosted assistant processes your requests on its own servers. Before you connect sensitive accounts, find out what each vendor logs and whether it trains on your conversations.

Leading conversational platforms offer explicit training controls. Anthropic states on Claude pricing that consumer accounts can opt out of model training. OpenAI's plan comparison on ChatGPT pricing says content is used to train its models, with an opt-out, and lists encryption in transit (TLS 1.2) and at rest (AES-256). For messaging-based agents, Poke privacy policy states that personal data is excluded from model training whenever users select the Maximum Privacy setting. Lindy says it is SOC 2 compliant and that data is never used to train models.

Terms can shift as startups mature. When TechCrunch examined Instinct on August 24, 2026, the publication quoted terms granting a worldwide, perpetual license to user materials for model training. Spear Street Technology revised both the Instinct terms of service and the Instinct privacy policy on August 26, 2026. The updated terms no longer contain perpetual or irrevocable licensing clauses, stating that Instinct does not claim ownership over user materials. Autonomous assistants that send messages or alter calendar entries without manual confirmation are unsuitable for high-liability roles. Professionals bound by statutory confidentiality rules, such as attorneys, healthcare providers, and fiduciary advisers, should not grant acting agents write access to their primary mailboxes; a chat assistant without send access, or Lindy, which asks before any action with outside impact, fits them better.

Contracts raise the stakes further. In the Instinct terms of service, users expressly appoint the service as their legal agent to enter into transactions and commitments, agreeing that any commitments made by the agent bind the user directly. When an assistant makes an unapproved restaurant reservation or dispatches an erroneous negotiation note, the account owner bears full contractual responsibility.

Our answer would change if every acting agent here published a rule that it asks before each outgoing email, payment or calendar cancellation, as Lindy already does for actions with outside impact.
