Claude Team Plan Pricing, Limits, and Setup

What Standard and Premium seats cost, and how per-member limits work.

Reviewed by Jonathan West · Updated Oct 10, 2026

Claude Team costs $20 per seat per month for Standard or $100 for Premium, billed annually. Billed monthly, Standard seats cost $25 and Premium seats cost $125. Team covers 2 to 150 seats.

Limits are per member, and usage credits let members keep working after they reach their included limits.

Claude Team Plan Pricing and Limits

The Claude Team plan is for teams of 2 to 150 seats. Standard seats cost $20 per seat per month billed annually, or $25 per seat per month billed monthly. Premium seats cost $100 per seat per month billed annually, or $125 per seat per month billed monthly. Limits are per member: one person hitting theirs does not affect anyone else. Standard seats include more usage than Pro, while Premium seats provide 5x the usage of Standard. Usage credits let members continue past their limits.

Standard and Premium seats can be mixed within a single team roster. Administrators can add seats midterm as team size grows. Upgrading an individual member from a Standard seat to a Premium seat is a reassignment, not a new purchase, unless every purchased Premium seat is already assigned.

Core Features on the Claude Team Plan

Seats include Claude Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models. Seats also get priority access during high-traffic times. Claude does not train on your content by default on Team.

Workspaces include Projects with sharing and collaboration, alongside built-in capabilities like web search, enterprise search, Research, Memory, and Skills. Seats include Claude Code, @Claude, Claude in Chrome, and Claude for Microsoft 365 and Outlook.

Administrative tools on the Team tier include Single Sign-On (SSO), domain verification, and the ability to restrict organization creation. Administrators manage remote and local connectors, deploy organization-wide skills, and set org instructions. They can also deploy the desktop app across the organization and review usage analytics.

How Usage Limits and Extra Usage Credits Work

Usage limits on the Claude Team plan apply on a per-member basis so that heavy usage by one person does not deplete allowances for others. Individual weekly limits reset on a fixed schedule that members can review under Settings and then Usage. Usage limits apply to all plans and can change.

Standard seats provide more usage than the individual Pro plan, while Premium seats offer 5x the usage of Standard seats according to the Anthropic pricing page. The Claude support article on the Team plan frames it differently: it says Standard seats receive 1.25x the Pro plan's per-session usage allowance and Premium seats 6.25x the Pro plan's per-session allowance.

Premium seats also provide access to Fable 5 and Fable 5.1 models, capped at up to 50% of weekly usage limits on Fable models, while Fable models are not included in Standard seat usage limits. When team members reach their included allowances, administrators can enable optional usage credits. These credits allow members across all seat types to continue working in Claude, Cowork, and Claude Code under user-level and organization-level spend controls.

The plan also grants up to $500 per month in pooled API credits across the organization. These credits cover the API. They do not change usage limits in Claude or Claude Code.

  • Fable model access: Fable 5 and 5.1 are included on Premium seats only, capped at up to 50% of weekly usage limits.
  • Pooled API credits: up to $500 a month, pooled across the team, for the API only.
